Whats a typical school day like at JM?

Your child arrives at school by bus, bike, foot or carpool before the first (warning) bell rings at 7:45 a.m. to begin a seven-period day. The first class begins at 7:50 a.m. Three periods are devoted to CORE class (English/Social Studies) with one teacher. The rest of the day will be spent changing classrooms and teachers for math, science, PE and the elective wheel or other elective until the dismissal bell at 2:24 p.m. There is a four-minute passing period between classes, and a longer morning break (referred to as snack recess in elementary school, but at JM it is referred to as brunch!).
