Boy meets or has girl. Boy loses girl. Boy changes and learns life lessons. Boy gets girl back. Happy happy joy joy If I see one more movie with a guy or girl running to the airport to stop someone from leaving and tell them that they love them . . . anyway this is a very popular formula for the romantic comedy. Boys and Girls She’s All That While You Were Sleeping Angel Eyes My Cousin Vinny Liar Liar and a bizillion more. I actually like a lot of these movies but they are quite predictable. Another common plot for happy endings is boy or girl refuses to admit or acknowlege feelings of love for the other and realizes it and tells them just in time for a happy ending (usually at the airport!
