Whats a Third Party OS system for PS3?
It means you can install an operating system on the PS3. Operating systems (OS) are Windows XP etc. It would be a version of Linux that you’d use on the PS3 though. Basically, it would let you use the PS3 for some computer tasks, but you’d also need a keyboard and mouse. edit: Rather than selling the 40Gb and buying a 120Gb, you might just be better off buying a new hard drive for the 40Gb ps3 and installing it yourself. You could get a 120Gb hard drive pretty cheap, or you could go for 320Gb or 500Gb if you wanted even more space. If you’re going to be losing money through the exchange, I really think you’d be better off just replacing the hard drive.
