Whats a temporary room?
A temporary room is the room that you will be staying in during CC. • Whats a permanent room? A permanent room is the room that you will be staying in during the school year. You will receive a letter from Yale College notifying you of your room assignment over the summer. • When will I move into my permanent room? You will move into your permanent room on Wednesday morning (the 5th day of CC). This is one of the perks of CCyou get to move into your new home early! • What if my permanent room is in the same building that the CC temporary rooms are at? Can you assign me my permanent room when I arrive for CC? We will try to assign you to your permanent room, but it may not be possible. During CC, we share buildings with students from other pre-orientation programs and we also divide our own space into male and female floors, so your permanent room may not be available. How we determine which floors are male and female depends on the gender ratio of the students admitted to the program,
