Whats a Teenager to do While Visiting Cannon Beach, Oregon?
• Brand New Skate Board Park – Located ½ block north of Visitor Center on the east end of 2nd Street. • Tennis court – Two courts are open to the public in the city park area located at 2nd and Spruce. • Surfing – only for the experienced – surfing at various locations north and south of the city and at Ecola State Park – Indian Beach. We strongly encourage contacting local surf shops for lessons and local surf conditions. The water is cold, so wet suits will be needed! • Fun Wheels rentals! Rent a three-wheeled cool bike for some beach buggy riding. Just remember, ride it on the street and you’ll get a ticket. It needs to be pulled to the beach. • Kite Flying – There are miles of beach to fly kits of any size. Bring your own or purchase at various local shops. • Mountain Biking – There are miles of logging roads on logging company property in the coastal range.
