Whats a Round Robin box?
The Round Robin box is a mobile gift box. Beforehand, people will commit to the project by submitting their addresses to me. The rules are simple: you have to replace as many items as you take out and you should try to keep the items under $5. The box has to be shipped to the next person, cannot arrive empty, and should be insured so that you get a tracking number. One person will start the box with odds and ends which might be useful around the home or in spiritual practices. Typical items include oils and incenses, incense burners or holders, stones and gems, homemade bath salts or soaps, candles, postcards, small artwork, driftwood, shells, etc. You remove what you want, replace those items with something you want to contribute, and then send the box to the next person. It’s a way of networking, of providing personal support, and building friendships. It’s also a lot of fun.
