Whats a penguins life like?
First, the male penguin moves from the water to the mating grounds. Then he finds a mate, and that takes around 1-2 weeks. Soon, (around may) the female penguin lays an egg. After that, the female transfers the egg to the male. The female then moves to the sea to eat and get fish for the baby. The female stays in the sea for the whole of winter, and then returns to the male, and hatched egg. She feeds the chick by regurgitating the chewed up fish. They raise the chick together, and then the life cycle repeats.
