Whats a “PDF eBook?
A PDF eBook is simply an electronic version of a book. You won’t find eBooks in bookstores; only on websites. The best thing about an eBook is that you don’t have to wait for it to be sent to you by mail. Whether you have dial-up or broadband, you can download an eBook with just one click—provided you have the Adobe Reader program on your computer (see #3 below). My eBook is just 1MB in size, so even with dial-up, it can be downloaded in just a few minutes at most. • But isn’t it dangerous to download things from the Web? Yes and no. Some eBooks are offered as .exe files, which can be dangerous if you don’t know and trust the publisher. But PDF eBooks are completely safe for download.
