Whats a Network Partner?
A Network Partner is any organization that distributes food to low-income, hungry people. There are two types of Network Partners – emergency and non-emergency. Emergency food providers are food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. Non-emergency food providers include low-income day care centers, after-school programs, senior centers, rehabilitation centers, and other feeding programs. Overall, the Maryland Food Bank serves 1,000 Network Partners throughout the state.
