Whats a meaningful retirement gift for a colleague?
When one of the long-standing staff members at my last job was leaving, we made her a scrapbook. We handed out journaling boxes to all the people who were interested in writing her a note, and collected photos of different holiday parties and office events she had been in throughout the years. We even got her husband to contribute some old photos, to fill in the gaps. She was so surprised when she saw the completed product! I think it’s the one gift she will not soon forget.
