Whats a krav maga class actually like?
Our general self-defense/Krav Maga classes in Boston follow a similar pattern. We start of with a basic warm-up and stretch and move straight into a series of games and drills that develop fighting skills, such as control of range, co-ordination, reflex time etc. These games and drills involve no pain and allow the student to hone, develop and improve their fighting skills without receiving punishment in the process. We will then do some pad-work to develop striking abilities and after that look at specific Krav Maga techniques, such as knife defenses, escaping from hods, dealing with gun threats etc.
