If it is a fairly unique fine automobile the only place to list it is on eBay. They have the highest volume of viewers who are looking for a particular kind of car & would be willing to pay the charges associated with moving it to their location. EBay selling is a bit more complicated with shipping and insurance but you might get a premium for a special car. Auto Trader for the most part is the “average” car shopper looking for transportation for the most part though as all stereo typing it is not true in all cases. My two cents is that an 1988 M3 might be a good draw on eBay. At any rate eBay is good place to determine the reall $$ value of the car before investing in advertising. It is really hard to determine what is a collectiable worth a premium price without a thorough research of other cars of similiar condition and ect. Good luck selling it!!
