Whats a good weapon, and how much should I pay?
• First to answer this you have to know the most damage a weapon can deal (also known as Max Damage). • Axes do up to 6-28 points of damage. • Swords do up to 15-22 points of damage. • Hammers do up to 19-35 points of damage. • Bows do up to 15-28 points of damage. • Rods & Staffs do up to 11-22 points of damage. • Shields can have up to 16 defense. • Focus items can have up to 12 for a bonus. • Next you have to see if there are any enchantments, the more enchantments the more expensive the item will be. If your new, I would go with a stock item weapon with no enchantments that can do max damage, then customize it and it will give a +20% damage bonus (this can be done at a weaponsmith). Going this route will tide you over for a long time without dumping a lot of gold. Upgrade later when you have gold to spare, by this time you should get a good feeling on what to expect to pay.
