Whats a good way to make mosquito bites stop itching?
The BIGGEST thing you can do is NOT SCRATCH IT! And if you DO, limit this to rubbing instead of using fingernails. The more you scratch it, the worse it will get. They used to make a stick which looked like a marker and you could rub it over a bite to help it stop itching. If I remember correctly, it contained ammonia. So you could probably dab a little bit of ammonia on the bite and it would help. Check out the pharmacy section to see what they have. But DON’T scratch! Also…an ounce of prevention being worth a pound of cure is a good idea, too. In otherwords, invest in things which minimize getting bit in the first place. My youngest daughter (known as “Shiney Object Girl”) is a mosquito magnet and it drives her crazy! She even breaks down and cries over it quite often.
