Whats a good way to clean a big pappazan chair cushion?
I hear your frustration on this one…My papasan chair has a removable cover, so that is an easy one. However, if your’s does not, and you don’t want to take it to the cleaners, than the easiest thing is going to be to spot clean it. The cleaners to try would be oxy-clean (good for organic stains) or just some dawn dish detergent and lots of water. To do that, just take a drop of soap, rub it onto the stain with an old toothbrush, let it sit for a few minutes, scub some more, and then flush with lots of warm water. If you have a shop vac, hold that to the wet area to suck up some of the water. Then follow with a hair dryer or set a space heater in front of it (not too close, fire is a much harder stain to get out). Make sure it is dry all the way before sitting on it because the moisture will attract even more dirt. Also, after you have it clean, spray on some scotchguard to resist some stains to begin with.
