if your writing a story why not make up one your self like a frogmanfly this would have the half body of a frog and a half body of a man who had wings so colorful from the back of him he would be so beautiful but from the front a head and a body of of a frog and so grottiest people would fear him he would feast on rodents and birds, insects and worms he would live in a swamp and when he met humans he would destroy them and wrap his wings round them and spin a cocoon to keep them for his hunger later on in the day as this happened the life force of his prey would make him stronger and his wings bright if he did not get his humans to feed upon his wings would become dull and moth like and he would become weak but the women he would keep and would love them all and hold them tight in his green slimy strong arms his wings would wrap around them and become very bright and colorful as he savers the aromas of his lovers they wouldn’t have any power over him as his wings became so Beautiful ev

Hmm, depends on the situation in the story. Be it a forest then anything with fangs would suffice, or bug like creatures. Mythological creatures such as Centaurs or Harpies are good too. It just depends on the imagination created from the story.
