Whats a good reason to stop going to church?
-you converted to agnosticism -you converted to atheism -Football -you want to sleep in on the weekends -you want to enjoy your weekend -Walmart’s open -you are tired from being around hypocrites -you just became a fan of Frederick Nietzsche, Richard Dawkins or George Carlin -you converted to another religion -you’re hung over from partying -you have to buy the morning after pill the morning after for it to work -World of Warcraft -that lawn is not going to mow itself -due to morbid obesity, you require a forklift and a flatbed truck to move about -you realized that priests actually don’t make that much money.
I can’t think of a good, valid reason to stop going to church, you might be lead to another church but you need to go to church. You need it for so many reasons. I used to think you didn’t have to go to church to be a true believer but He’s shown me that it’s something you need to continue to grow…you need it for the Godly relationships, for the accountability, for the worship, to TITHE (that does work!, He does give it back), you need it for the ministry opportunities that’s there and available, you need to hear the Word…
