I have found that naming a kitten is a serious matter! , as it will be the name that she will be called for the rest of her life. There is nothing more frustrating than picking a name that a kitten doesn’t like.Kittens have a way of “telling” you their names, if we just take the time to “listen”. I name my cats based on their behavior and any special antic that is unique to them. When I adopted my white Oriental kitten, he was always into a lot of mischief, so he was, of course, named “Trouble”. Later on, I suspected that I was jinxing him as the behavior continued. So we changed his name promptly to Hubble, and he has grown into a very well behaved kitty. It is also wise for the cat “servant” to name their kitty purrsonally, since it is a further bonding process. Your kitten WILL tell you her name very soon, just watch and observe! Promise!!!
