Whats a good mousepad for laser mouse?

So I bought a Logitech Marathon mouse to replace my old dying Logitech optical mouse. When I first got it, I loved the features but the one thing that bothered me the most was the poor tracking. Occasionally the mouse would stop moving or slow down for no apparent reason and I couldn’t reproduce it by repeating the same gestures. I didn’t know what was up with my mouse and I thought I should return it or something. When I tried my mouse on my brother’s desk I found out my desk was the culprit . My brother’s desk is just plain smooth wood with no gloss or anything, and my mouse worked flawlessly with no hiccups on it. My desk is wood and has some kind of glossy or wax coating and my mouse never worked fine on it. I suppose the glossy layer disrupted the laser beam. I thought laser mouse would work fine on any surface, but I guess I was wrong. Well that’s my story, so my solution is to get a decent mousepad. I just want something that won’t get dirty or build up dust. Anyone want to sugg
