Whats a good mid-range capture board for my Mac?
Predictably enough, I have to weigh in on behalf of the Radius EditDV package. I’ve been using it for a while, and I love the look, feel and performance. It does what the Pinnacle DV300 claims to do, and yet it works seamlessly. Specifically, it will render only sections that contain effects or titles, it will let you play back sequences totalling an unlimited amount of time off the timeline, and I have yet to have any serious problems with it. The buzz on the DV300 for the Mac has been horrible. There have been numerous user comments, all of them negative.
