Whats a good cat food substitute for Temptations?
Yuck, no! The cat will eventually eat. No cat will starve itself when food is available. He’ll eat when he’s hungry. Don’t allow him any people food or treats. Just went through this with a rescue. Picked her up and the people who had her (they’d had her for a week, the people they got her from had her for a week, no one knows her history prior) offered me her food; a box of no name cat food and a bag of her favourite chips. I politely declined. The cat had no idea what quality cat food was and she was ENORMOUSLY fat. She could barely walk and didn’t even fit into the carrier I brought that my neighbour uses for his Shih Tzu. I had to stuff her in. She’d been living in small apartments being fed junk. We’ve had her 5 weeks now. She’s still quite fat but she can run now and does regularly. She’s become very playful.
