Whats a good breed rabbit?
As far as breed, the larger the rabbit, the calmer and more outgoing they tend to be. Small breeds tend to be nervous of humans. The two small breeds I would recommend you look at are the Mini Lop and Holland Lop, they tend to be a little more laid back than other small breeds. Avoid, in general, the Netherland Dwarf and Polish breed for any beginning owner- they tend to bite first and ask questions later and will fear you. Really, a larger rabbit is a better first rabbit- 10 pounds and over would be best. Breeds like the Californian, Flemish Giant, Giant Chinchilla, New Zealand, and other larger breeds tend to be friendlier than the little guys. LItter training is more of an individual thing.
