Whats a Glow Starter?
A glow starter, or plug igniter is a battery powered, spring loaded tube that fits over the glow plug of an engine. When this makes contact with the plug, an electrical current heats up the coil inside the glow plug until it glows bright red. When fuel hits the plug, combustion takes place and the engine starts. Once started, the glow starter can be removed and the combustion cycle will continue.
