What’s a Direct Transfer Agreement?

0

Seattle Pacific participates in the Inter-College Relations Commission agreement on direct transfer degrees. This agreement guarantees that if you earn an approved DTA (Direct Transfer Agreement) associate degree from a Washington State Community College , you have completed the Exploratory Curriculum and University Core courses, and you are not required to complete the University Seminar. Most DTA holders enter SPU with junior standing (90 credits). Your class standing at entrance will determine how many University Foundations classes you are required to complete. SPU will confer the same privileges as those outlined above for Washington state community college DTA degree holders upon the following students: • Associate degree holders from Central Christian College of Kansas • Associate degree holders from California junior colleges who have completed the IGETC curriculum for the CSU or UC system • Students from Oregon who have completed the Uniform Oregon Associate of Arts degree Ass
