It’s the device in charge of the network. It keeps track of network settings (Auto Mode or Manual Mode, for instance) and network resources like channel availability. • The blue LEDs aren’t lit on some or all of the devices in the network. That means they haven’t officially joined the network. This could be a cable or power failure or could be because you don’t have a box set as the Control Master. To diagnose the problem, look for the Control Master (red LED on the front panel). If the blue LED on the Control Master is on, then start working your way through the rest of the network looking for the point where the connection was broken.
