What’s a competitive club versus a recreational club versus a special interest club?
• Recreational: This social aspect incorporates a variety of participation opportunities including regular club meetings, clinics, practices, informal gatherings and philanthropic functions. • Competitive: The intensity of participation will vary depending in the interest and desires of its members. Clubs may have competition as their main purpose. The level of intensity should be controlled by the club members. Sound tournament structure will be taught to the leaders of the clubs. Guidance in the role and use of coaches is provided.
