What’s a Chastity Belt?
A chastity belt has been purchasable since February 2010 for turtles. It is an item currently available for L$50 from the Petable mainstore and affiliate vendors. Once applied to a turtle, a turtle will eat half of what it normally eat, saving you on food. However, the turtle will be chaste (this is a status you can see on the general tab of the HUD also) and won’t lay eggs. A chastity belt will remain on the turtle permanently until such time as you get a key to take it off. This makes it good for turtles which are sold or used solely as pets, given the savings in food.
