Whats a Chapbooks.com Team Publishing Grant?
We’re spreading the word about a new kind of book publishing — one more concerned with celebrating a community of writers than with publishing books for profit. Now that the Internet can bring the power of publishing to everyone, we’ve created a Publishing Team Grant program to encourage the growth of classroom publishing by teams of dedicated teachers. Each team of three teachers can choose to produce a single, combined anthology written by all three classes together, or three different anthologies, written individually by each of the three classes. The grant amount ($465) covers all production and shipping costs for either 1 set of 75 medium-sized books (a combined anthology from the three classes, up to 150 pages) or 3 sets of 30 short books (1 title for each class, up to 75 pages). Grants must be used by June 30, 2000.
