Whats a Birthstone Turtle?
With the January 21st 2010 update to Version 01.06.07 came the possibility that by breeding between particular turtles, you may get a special turtle – the Birthstone turtle. The Birthstone turtle can be bred by breeding together special or super turtles. Consequently, in the pursuit of birthstones, many special turtles became highly demanded on the markets, fetching some high pricing to allow for the breeding of a birthstone each month. If you have a pair of birthstones from the previous month you also have an increased chance of getting a birthstone for the next month. One will be released every month, to match the birthstone gems for that month, there are three variations in skin colour – silver, gold and platinum. The turtle shell is jewel-like in formation, and is the colour of that month’s birthstone (listed below).
