Does it mean you have to be meager about your surfing habits; does it mean you’re constantly checking and double checking your data usage? I currently have no data plan on my iPhone but there are times when I want to check something on Google and there’s no Wifi in sight. I’m just wondering how much 500MB really is. For instance, on my desktop I chewed through 5-10KB of data by simply going into Expose to check iStat. The weather widget, calendar, all refreshes and chews up data. I wonder if there is a gremlin application within the iPhone that does that as well.
