Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome is characterized by recurrent, prolonged attacks of severe nausea, vomiting and prostration with no apparent cause. Vomiting occurs very frequentlly. Sometimes vomiting can occur 5 -10 times an hour for hours or days. It usually occurs between 1 and 4 days.
