What e the differences between GPS and GPRS?
GPS (Global Positioning System) is the 24 satellites net work orbiting around the earth and provide the detail and information about fleet positioning. At first, the GPS has limited use only for the military purposed and then, has used it for more benefits such as, transportation, natural resources survey and imagery for mapping etc. GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is a radio technology for GSM networks that adds packet-switching protocols, shorter set-up time for ISP connections, and offer the possibility to charge by amount of data sent rather than connect time and users pay only for the volume of data sent and received.
