Whatever happened with Maddies accountant?
In the second season episode, “Money Talks…Maddie Walks” Maddie learns from a fellow victim of her accountant that Ronald Sawyer has taken their money and built a casino/hotel in Buenos Aires in South America. In a mad rage for justice, Maddie grabs the first flight out of L.A. and runs to the casino, demanding that Sawyer return her money. When he subtly laughs in her face, she is angry, until David shows up and together they gamble and win 20 grand. However, Maddie enters a high stakes poker game between her, David and Sawyer trying to win all of her money back. When she is faced with the possibility of losing her winnings and her house, car, and Blue Moon, David convinces her to ‘fold’ from the game saying, “Your fortune’s not here, it’s back in L.A. …” Needless to say, Maddie would have won and when she found out what hand Sawyer had, she chased Addison who said, “Whoops!
