What's so important about the movement of lymph?
A growing chorus of cardiac specialists are discussing the importance of the lymphatic system, when it comes to maintaining our body’s overall health. Considered ‘the other circulatory system’, it’s largely responsible for our body’s immune function. A vast network of vessels transports a fluid known as “lymph,” which has the dual purpose of both nourishing our cells (with oxygen and sugar), and carrying away their waste (lactic acid and metabolites). The lymphatic system lacks the efficiency of our cardiovascular system and can leave harmful substances behind (including bacteria and toxins) if the flow is weak. A buildup of such harmful substances has the potential to lead to sickness and disease. This is where M11 comes in. Since the lymphatic system has no heart, there is no pump to force the fluid through the body. It relies instead on deep muscular contraction. The movements of M11 are designed to elicit those deep muscular contractions to help ensure a healthy flow of lymph throu
