The Gunsmoke TV Western Comic Strip was based on the popular American Radio and Television Western Drama series called Gunsmoke. It was created by Norman Mac Donnell and was written by John Meston. The Comic Books based on the Gunsmoke series were published by Dell Comics. It was later continued by Gold Key Comics. The Comic Strip of the Gunsmoke Western TV series ran in British Newspaper for several years. According to my information it ran in The Daily Mirror from the year 1956 to the year 1970. It did not run on The Daily Express. It was written by Harry Bishop.
