Kinsmen Telemiracle was started in 1977 and was broadcast from the Centennial Auditorium in Saskatoon. Several Kinsmen from Saskatoon came up with the idea of a telethon as a fundraiser for the Kinsmen foundation. No one dreamed that Telemiracle that first year would raise over $1 million and it has been going strong ever since.
