What Yardages Do the Girls Play?
Normal TJGT tournaments can expect to play apx. 5700-5900 yds depending on course/weather conditions. Invitational yardages for all girls can expect to play at collegiate distances at 6000-6300 yds. Each course has their own color of tees. Therefore, it is important to play practice rounds at these yardages and not a specific color or tees. The tee color that corresponds to these yardages is the tee marker that should be played. Practice round yardages are not exact and TJGT always reserves the right to adjust the course yardage due to weather conditions and pace of play considerations. TJGT favors shortening the par 3 holes for pace of play and making the par 5 holes true par 5s to avoid back-ups on the tee box.
