What Xilinx devices can be programmed using the Adept Suite software?
The current version of Adept supports the following devices: FPGA Families • Spartan 2E – XC2SE • Spartan 3 – XC3S • Spartan 3E – XC3SE (100K through 1600K gate) • Spartan 3A – XC3SA (50K through 1400K gate) • Spartan 3AN – XC3SAN (50K through 1400K gate) • Virtex 2 – XC2V (untested) • Virtex 2 Pro – XC2VP (tested for XC2VP30, untested for others) CPLD Families • CoolRunner 2 – XC2CA • CoolRunner 2 – XC2C PROM Families • Platform Flash PROM – XCFS (not XCFP series) Please see the Adept Suite SVF Configuration File Creation document for information on using SVF files to program other devices.
