What would you like us in the UFO community to know about Scottish Ufology?
MR: I think your readers should be aware that Scotland as a country has been touched by the UFO presence. It doesn’t stand alone. Scotland has seen its fair share of close proximity sightings. Two classic cases in Scotland concerned, first of all, a forestry worker, a chap called Robert Taylor. In November 1979, he was in a forest and came upon a clearing in the woods, and he saw a massive dome-shaped object resting above the grass. Parts of it seemed to disappear and solidify, and it dematerialized and materialized and dematerialized. He was standing looking at this, and the dog he had with him was barking at it. Suddenly what resembled two Second World War sea mines, those mines that you got in the North Atlantic, the balls with spikes sticking out of them, dropped from beneath this object and started rolling across the grass.
