What would you choose Husqy or Stihl and why?
I’ve used both, and STIHL has won my heart. They are reliable, easy to maintain and repair, plus most hardware stores carry STIHL products, so parts are easy to get a hold of. My problem with Husqy’s are that they are a little too much on the heavy side. The weights are relatively the same, but Husqy’s have a narrower body thus making it more awkward for me to hold. I’ve noticed STIHL’s are faster, and I can get my harvesting jobs done a lot faster. The model I recommend getting now is the the STIHL 441, if you are in the logging business. If not, I recommed the 280; it’s more designed for homeowners.
