What would we do if scientists suddely discovered MASSIVE asteroid was coming towards Earth?

Well, …, currently we don’t have the technology ready to deflect an asteroid. Unfortunately, no, an atom bomb or several atom bombs would not destroy a massive asteroid. If fact a study just released this week indicates that even if we did blow up an asteroid with a “whatever device” that the asteroid would reform in roughly 2 – 18 hours. Thus, blowing up an asteroid is not the answer. Deflecting or diverting an asteroid is the answer and we should concentrate on those technologies. Currently, Almighty God is our only defense. So, I suggest prayer as a course of action.
