It seems most of those who answer only think of Europe as the world. Judaism would probably be right where it is. Islam would probably not exist, then again if Muhammad did get guided then Islam might still be as big or larger. Most religions would have continued or new ones arose. The real problem would be what would have driven Europeans if it had not been for Christianity? Christianity was kind of the impetus behind many scientific discoveries. There are so many threads that have to be rethought. Removing Christianity is like removing a wall on a building, will it still stand or fall. In either case it is a very different building. Oh, as I look at the question again it is not about if Christianity was but if it had not spread. If it was it would have spread if we get past Licinius to find the first Christian Cesar, Constantine. Without him it would have taken longer and may not have gained any prominence in the world.
