What would make a parent unfit in NY?
Tell you what; you’re dealing with an enemy on one side, and an informer for the enemy on the other. You’re in trouble. But don’t panic, here’s some things you can do… First you need to know the facts about DPS (Dept. of Child Protective Services.) From what I know, they are a wolf in a sheep’s skin! They claim they are there to protect children, (and they might have been when started,) but they actually are a parent’s worst nightmare. I recommend you research this organization to see how they’ve dealt with parents in the past, and make up your mind on your own. Because you’re probably going to wave me off as unreasonable from what I’m going to tell you. 1. The organization gets a certain amount of money for each child they “rescue” (therefore giving them every incentive to “rescue” every child they can, whether there is a reason or not) 2. They have a history of taking the children away from families for little or no reason. If a neighbor calls and complains, they will take the kids
