What would i be able to feed a baby garter snake?

0

When my cat brought home a garter snake at the end of fall and it was still alive, only “damaged”, I decided to keep it until it got well again. It turns out the one I got was not very interested in crickets ($1/doz.), so I switched to fishing worms. (S)He loved them! They were slightly more expensive and I had to go to a bait shop that was open all year long and stocked them, but they kept well in the refrigerator. Depending on where you live, you could probably dig your own worms, but if you are up in the cold north where we are going to get 10″ of snow, you are going to have to save some lunch money and come up with some snake food. Time to start thinking about what’s best.
