I agree with the poster that very little can prepare a person for law school. Of course you want to prepare for the LSAT, the best way to do that is to take practice LSAT exams. Do as many of those that you can. Buy old exams, the company that runs the LSAT used to sell old exams. The more practice exams you do, the higher your LSAT score will be. You also want a good GPA in college. High enough GPA and LSAT score may allow you to get a scholarship for at least a portion of your first year of law school. If you can, sign up for a debate program, or public speaking classes. There are some colleges that have a Moot Court program for those considering being an attorney — if your school has that get involved (that is the closest to actually being a lawyer). Because law is more a business than a profession anymore, I always suggest that a person take some business courses. I think majoring in business and minoring in english is a very good combination.
