What would have happened to Turkey if Mustafa Kemal Ataturk never existed?

The country was originally to be divided: UK controlled the Istanbul/Thrace region, which officially remained part of the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire was also to get ownership & control of central Anatolia around Ankara. Greece controlled Western Anatolia centered around Izmir Italy controlled southern Anatolia centered around Antalya France’s sphere would have extended into southeastern Turkey Armenia was to get Eastern Turkey. Armenia would not have lasted long, as in real life Armenia was split between Turkey & the Soviet Union; only difference in this alternate history would be that the Soviet Union would absorb all of Armenia. The real interesting situation would be what would happen in 1941 when Germany’s push through the Balkans came up not against a neutral Turkey, but a hostile UK.
