I’m not sure people would have that much more sex to be honest. In my experience the people who choose not to have sex outside long term relationships or marriage (i.e. situations where a child would be fairly welcome) tend to have other primary reasons for their stance- such as moral or religious values, or preferring to associate sex only with love- and of course STI risks- the lower pregnancy risk is a secondary issue that they will use to help justify the arguments for celibacy, but is not the sole reason for it. People who have a more casual attitude towards sex are either the ones who are willing to take their 2% chance with the currently available pill- sex is so important to their lives that they’re willing to accept that risk, or teenagers with such poor sex education that they know little about the relative risks anyway and would probably not take the 100% pill even if it were available. Fear of pregnancy alone is not something I think puts many people off having sex. Therefo
