what would happen if i will start shaving my armpits at age 14?
That’s not too young to start growing underarm hair don’t worry, and you will soon get it on your left armpit. I say discuss it with your mum a bit more and try to persuade her. When you first start shaving it will be a bit irritating and you might get a few ingrown hairs or a red ‘rash’ that looks like small red dots. This does stop when you’ve done it for a while don’t worry. The hair doesn’t actually get thicker, it just grows upright and with a flat end so it seems to be thicker. If you let it grow back though it will be exactly the same as before, neither does it darken, it just appears to at the beginning. If it’s embarrassing you I say shave it before people see and say something. Do it every other day in the shower, it’s so quick and easy, and when your razor seems to be a bit blunt and not shaving as well then get a new one!
