She would drop probably 20 lbs or so in the first 2 weeks, or more depending on her metabolism, and then her body would kick into starvation response and hang on to every single calorie consumed. The upshot is, by the time the 8 weeks was up, she would probably weigh a deal MORE than 160 pounds. And, she would be very ill and unhealthy. That’s a crash diet that smacks of anorexia. Don’t do it. If you want to lose weight, find a website that calculates your BMR (not your BMI, two different things), and then take a max of 500 calories a day off of it. Example: my BMR is 1550. So if I eat 1050 calories a day and sit on my bum and do nothing, I will lose a few pounds. If I exercise, I will truly lose weight.
