There are no visible particles in a bottle of IONIC SILVER™ when it is shipped from the factory. IONIC SILVER™ is a colloid consisting of silver nanoparticles that are too small to be seen by even the most powerful optical microscopes. However, for a number of reasons, these nanoparticles can aggregate to form larger particles that are visible to the naked eye. These particles can appear like specs of ‘black pepper’ that have settled to the bottom of the bottle. These particles are not harmful and can be ingested without causing any problems. If the bottle is shaken the particles will temporarily re-disperse.
